I do love this little street section and for years keep trying to get the exact photo I have in mind. With my fisheye attached and zero traffic to be found, I was able to stand in the middle of the street. 99% of the time, that would get someone injured or killed with the never ending traffic! The financial district on a Sunday afternoon (of Super Bowl weekend) was as deserted as could be.

@lynne5477 Ooops...sorry...Chicago. I'd put it in the tags, but not the narrative so am going back to add it in. Thanks for visiting and raising the question!
This one is beyond my superlatives. What can I say except fav? Stunning use of the fisheye. Wonderful symmetry and great timing, I've taken some middle-of-a-busy-road photos on Good Fridays when everyone else is sleeping-in, gone out or at church.
I really love this, and I know the patience it takes to get this shot!!!! Your patience definitely payed off! I am not a huge fish eye fan, but find in this case it is really effective. My only criticism is that there is a small dirty sensor spot in the left hand side of the sky.
I could tell this was yours right away. I love it, Taffy. Love that fisheye lens and your eye as you have a great eye for photography and that perfect shot. So much detail in this photo. FAV
@Taffy I am laughing to myself Taffy having read your comment on my fisheye image that I have inspired you to take you lens out. I have been searching for something that I can use the fisheye on and just outside your door you are spoilt for choice!! Chicago is the perfect place to use your fisheye lens!! Oh yes I think I will be coming back!! LOL!! This is just fabulous. I have a "similar" shot from this angle but it is full of traffic and people. What a difference a Sunday morning makes!! I love to see your Chicago images!! Huge Fav!!
@ukandie1 Thanks for the alert, Andie. I was able to fix it nicely using LR and PS, but unfortunately, picmonkey is so clunky that while it's gone, I'm not happy with the sky. I didn't want to lose comments, though, and can't figure out the workaround to bring in the new version. UGH!
