Small Town, Two Big Buildings

Can you feel it? The weight of six straight days of fireworks 24 hours a day finally lifting. I feel nice and clean again. No more dog shaking all day long and scared to go outside. Having go take her out ten times a day because if there are fireworks she will freak out and run back home. Me having to pull her and people thinking i must be crazy. Me having to say nice comforting words to her while we are outside to get her to relax and pee, and more people thinking i must be crazy.

It feels good again to live in Taipei. And we are celebrating with this nice view of the city. I'm actually quite happy with this photo blog as it has motivated me to go out and do more things. I've been to some really interesting places, but am just too lazy to sort through all the pictures. One place I went to is very unique and I took 110 pictures. Which is probably 100 more pictures than I had taken in the last five years.

In this picture you can see Taipei 101 on the right, and the tall building on the left is the Mitsukoshi building, the previous tallest building in Taiwan. I always forget how small the city really is. I've recently gotten into the habit of walking everywhere and not bothering with the bus or subway.

Then again this is "winter" time here, so it's nice and in the 60s. Get back to me in two months when it's burning outside to see if I'm still strolling around town.
