Please Don't Leave Me!

There are a growing number of frozen yogurt stores in the Taipei. Most with the story of "we went to america, fell in love with frozen yogurt, came back and saw there were no frozen yogurt places, so we opened one." and every single one of them is terrible. I think it's because with most foreign food restaurants owned by Taiwanese, they don't really get what makes it good. In Taiwan they use Taiwanese ingredients, for both ease and to save money, and usually it makes it taste not so good.

However this place "Yogurt Art" is authentic frozen yogurt, it's delicious and it has even become my favorite place to go whenever I'm in the mood for ice cream or frozen yogurt. However because I love it, that means that it's not so popular. So i'm always scared that it will close.

Recently I went there and they were having a big sale and were out of a lot of flavors, I was very scared that this meant they were going out of business, and I spoke to the worker about this and she brought out the manager to talk me down off the ledge. Thankfully they are not going out of business, just late on their ingredient resupply (their stuff comes from the states).

There is one thing about this store that scares me though. They have a lot of toppings. I never put any on because it would just take away from the pure wonderful taste of the yogurt. Anyway, one of the toppings Fruit Loops, are actually spoiled. There was a big problem with a Fruit Loop shipment and all the cereal inside had gone bad, even though they were not scheduled to expire for another year or so. Well it appears that they don't know this (even though they are a severely rancid looking color), and they leave them out. I have told them about this before, but i think it got lost in translation. I hope they will take them away because they taste awful, and I'm always scared that somebody will come in for the first time, try the yogurt and put on the fruit loops, then hate it, and never come back. I need people to love the store as much as I do, so it won't close. I could never take the heartbreak of having to go back to getting my ice cream fix from Coldstone.
