The Simpsons season 12 episode 1 foretold the coming of the reign of the dolphins.
This is a tiny block of grass in the city. Taipei is actually full of these tiny spaces of grass with usually some flowers or sculptures. Usually there is a sign in front of them saying they are there to beautify the city and keep it natural. With a pledge that this small area will always be there. But...I have seen a few of them have now become office buildings.
However I do appreciate the random art, sculptures, small parks, etc. around the city. Even if some of it is very.....unique....it does make the city feel more comfortable.
I have two friends who work for the government whose job is to make decisions about where to put art and parks and things. It's actually quite fascinating to hear about all the research, statistics, and results regarding not just neighborhoods, but people's over all well being as a result of these types of places.
But I can tell you the result of this one is fear. That poor polar bear doesn't stand a chance. And after they feed on him, the humans are next!
