Here in Taipei we are already living in the sci-fi future where there are layers of apartments on top of each other. With the poor on the bottom and the rich on top.
The photo was a surprising sight I came across while walking my dog. Walking through the city you can sometimes come across areas that make you feel like you are in a different country or even a different time. It's a bit hard to tell from this picture but there are five different layers of apartments. They are so close together though that they all look like they share the same space.
