They say that everything is better with a friend, so I have a special buddy for everything I do. The problem is that my reading buddy and my sleeping buddy are one in the same. My dog.
Now that I'm reading Chinese books, I am enjoying the relaxing setup in the picture. It's quite comfortable, and my reading buddy is always next to me to keep me company while I read. However she quickly transitions from reading to napping, and sucks me in with her.
It's gotten so bad that pretty much the hours of my life between 10am and 10pm are reading for 1.5 hours, then a half hour nap, then back to reading for 1.5 hours, and so on.
So please be wise and learn from my mistake. When choosing a reading buddy, try to make sure they aren't also your sleeping buddy. It's a formula for disaster.
