If you've ever been out a county fair and thought "this funnel cake is good, but it would be even better if it were in stick form" than Taiwan is the place for you. These funnel cake sticks are a staple of the late night restaurants I mention a few weeks ago.
They taste exactly like funnel cakes, but since there is no powder sugar on them, they are a not very sweet. However without the powder sugar you can really taste how greasy funnel cakes truly are.
As if they weren't heart clogging enough, they can be served in other ways to assist in your suicide attempt. No joke one way of serving it is taking two, cutting them in half, then sticking the four sticks in between two pieces of bread. Yep, a funnel cake sandwich.
I've also seen certain kinds that have dried meat inside of them. I have not tried that kind though. Not out of fear, oh no. Just because I know if i try everything, than you won't have anything new to try if you ever come to Taiwan.
