I have been rabbiting on about the view from The Sphinx at Jungfrau. The Sphinx is that building perched on top of the rocky peak on the right. No wonder the views are so spectacular.
So imagine now an elevator shaft heading straight down from that building into the rock for 117 metres and that is the location of the Jungfraujoch railway station. Quite amazing.
Taken as we started our trek across the glacier to the Mönchsjoch Hut.

A simply spectacular image Terry, lovely clarity, colour and point of view, takes us back in the day when you had to wait for the film to be developed, this one was well worth the waiting for, Fav:)
