Mrs S suggested that we have a run-out in the car this afternoon to visit pastures new and find a photo for today. So after humming gently through some nice countryside, we ended up in the town of Broons which had some promising architecture. I readied my camera and checked the exposure and was greeted with the message 'No Memory Card'! Oh bother I said!
We enjoyed a walk round anyway and then drifted back home. I decided to treat myself to a Vin Chaud in my favourite village bar and, why not, take a snap of the proprietor... so here's a pic of Dédé giving me a big smile. In the previous one he was blowing me a kiss but I decided to spare you that! Mrs Dédé (Dominique), who hates having her picture taken, was hiding behind the beer pumps.
Still very much under the weather so this is the best I could manage for today.
This image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my post for 1 January and in my profile. I'm also tagging this for B&W February.
Always like to see our preferred watering hole on 365. A camera is the only thing I've seen that instantly reduces Dom to a shrinking violet. Edmund looks sceptical.
Great candid. Guess most of us have done that. I don't get a message, just can't take a photo. Hope the Vin Chaud helped and you are feeling better soon.
@fntngrma Thanks Rosan: my Fujis put a message in the viewfnder; my Nikons won't take a photo - the worst are my Sony Nex 6 and 7 which appear to work completely normally with images displayed on the rear screen, but when you go to retrieve the memory card... @&!%#*
