Normally this would be the trigger for great rejoicing - 365 photos in 365 days! But this year is 366 days long, so the rejoicing - if rejoicing is due - will be for tomorrow... today is a simple countryside view that caught my eye on the way back from the supermarket this morning.

@ahleena I see what Poppy is saying, the b&w brings out the texture in the foreground. But perhaps after a year of it, perhaps time for a colourful 2017.
@laroque I think I shall 'make haste slowly' Tim - freed from the constraints I set myself this year, it would be too easy to fall into the trap of producing a lot of over-processed images. Besides, I'm one of those - and there are quite a few of us on here - who actually prefer B&W to colour ;-))
