On 1 January there was a lot of head shaking: some said I would never make it; others intimated that I was mad for even trying... but here we are 366 days later with a completed OCOLOY project.
Yes, I used one fixed lens camera for the whole year; no processing or cropping; all straight Jpegs as delivered by the camera... and in B&W to boot!
Henri Cartier Bresson famously said, "Your first 10,000 pictures are the worst!" I shot over 15,000 images for this project so, hopefully, some of them turned out all-right ;-))
I've learned a lot; my Fuji X100T has become almost an extension of myself... I almost don't want to stop!
Thank you for all the support and encouragement I have received over the year and special thanks to those who joined me for part of the journey.
Oh yes... BoB!
And for the very last time - the image is SOOC and is the final image in my now completed OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my profile.
Happy New Year to all of you... now what are we going to do tomorrow?!
@louuncouth Well remembered Lou... yes, February 2014 just one month into my project - a lot of water has passed under the bridge since then, for both of us I think!
Well done Richard. Your project has been 365 at its best: in terms of how you've grown as a photographer; inspired others and of course the
quality of the images themselves. FAV!
I remember when you were trying yourself in knots about doing a whole February in black-and-white :) I tip my hat!
