OCOLOY Day 69: Water, water everywhere!

We have had so much rain over the last few weeks that all the lakes in our area are full to overflowing. This is the leisure lake at St. Malo de Beignon pictured this afternoon. All three levels of the run-off sluice are in full flow, plus the emergency run-off. It was quite noisy!

Viewing on black is best.

This image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my profile.
that is a lot of water Richard - well composed

Great capture of all three water elements. Beautiful composition. Hope there's no major flooding with all three level plus emerg area full. Stay safe.

Great capture of rain caused water flow. Seattle has been having heavy rainfall since the start of 2016.

Now there is a controlled flow. What a contrast to Niagara Falls!

@taffy You're right there Taffy... but this is the overflow from a pond with no river or stream input, only surface drainage from the surrounding fields. Normally, the outflow is nil or the merest trickle.

Still loving the OCOLOY... Keep it up!

B&W really play to the drama of this. The contrasts and the surging waters are super.
