OCOLOY Day 79: Étang des Forges

Pictured yesterday afternoon, this is the lake that used to supply the the water to power the machinery in the smelting works and foundry which gave the village of Les Forges its name.

BoB - Better on Black... again!

This image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my profile.

This (unplanned) series of water pix with shadows are as revealing as they are concealing. Tones, textures and POV impressive.

Yes, love on black! I really like the shadowed lines that falsely proclaim the fencing to continue downward into the water. I admire your OCOLOY project.

@moreyoulessme Thank you Jerri, it was the shadow of the bridge railings that caught my eye too.

Beautifully composed. This is the kind of shot that I get after much cropping and tinkering. Now that you are a third of a way into your OCOLOY project I am sure that you have become better at composing a shot in camera, but I would be interested to know what else you think you have learned and/or need to improve on?
