OCOLOY Day 86: Trees - fallen & reflected

A walk by the river Meu at Gaël revealed this rather dramatic scene of a fallen tree blocking the river (there was another to the right) and the sombre reflections of the trees still standing.

If you can spare the click... indulge me and view this on black.

This image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my profile.
Wonderful deep reflections!

If one was still a child, one would be tempted to walk across this fallen trunk!

Beautiful detail Richard and it's amazing just how much more detail pops up when viewed on black!

Although it's now (officially) Spring, the spheres of mistletoe spheres stir memories of Christmas. Thus the reflections prompt the memory. Clever stuff. The very BoB.

I like how you've composed to show more of the reflections, they show us what the trees look like, but still focus on the fallen one.
