OCOLOY Day 202: A seat at the kitchen table... by vignouse

OCOLOY Day 202: A seat at the kitchen table...

... this 'seat' theme appears to be turning into a series - all of its own volition! Taken from the garden this evening just as dusk was turning to dark.

As usual, the image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my profile.

BoB... again!
A beautiful series - a beautiful image - very serene. Fav.

I really like the framing of this photo and the perspective. It seems there's no shortage of indoor and outdoor seats to keep your series going :).

Peeking through the window at night. It is a peaceful scene.

You have very high ISO so I must try to do something like this and get it focused so well as you do!

Draws you in, so homey and comforting.

This reminds me of the first line from a Manx song:
"When the summer day is over and it's busy cares have flown
I sit beneath the starlight with a weary heart alone.."

Hardly...rather an opportunity to enjoy the coolness indoors.

Fabulous

Excellent. I love that there's a person sitting in the room beyond the door oblivious to your camera. You could be a stalker :)

@maggiemae I had ISO set to auto Maggiemae - 200 minimum to 3200 maximum. I'm quite happy with this camera to go to 3200 and even to 6400 when shooting in B&W and I have NR reduced so that I don't lose too much detail to the smoothing algorithm. Try a range of ISOs with your own camera so that you know what you're happy with.

Fantastic Richard! Fav. I'm waiting for inspiration for a night shot...I'd be very happy with one like this. You've made the light and composition work together to make such depth. Fav
