OCOLOY Day 261: Raisin d'être of Bordeaux... by vignouse

OCOLOY Day 261: Raisin d'être of Bordeaux...

...French speakers will appreciate the pun. Non-French speakers don't worry - it wasn't that good. In just a few months these modest bunches of grapes will have metamorphosed into a bottle of wine that will cost north of three figures in most first-world currencies!

As usual, the image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my profile. This is also for 'Square September' which you can find more about here - http://365project.org/discuss/general28377/square-september

Every vineyard we've passed is yawning with grapes like these. Only a few bunches are kept from each vine.

I don't speak much French, but understand this. Haha! Nice capture. I always wondered. Are these grapes as tasty off the vine as they become in a bottle of wine?
