La Rivière is a suburb of Cahors in the Lot which is where we shall be staying for the next day or so. If you cross the bridge at left and then turn left before the church... our campsite is about 2 kilometres on at the end of the lane. The last time we were here was in 2005 so we're renewing old memories and making new ones.
As usual, the image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my profile. This is also for 'Square September' which you can find more about here - http://365project.org/discuss/general28377/square-september
By the way, for anyone who started a project 1 January as I did this one... just 100 days to go ;-))
I like the rich, dark, glossy quality to this, like the Cahors wine. I camped at Cahors myself in the 1980's, touring the W & SW of France with my friend in his TR6.
Congratulations on hitting the home straight. I'm four days behind you and have been looking forward to the psychological boost of having under 100 days to go. I think your foray into square composition this month has been very successful. This is a good example.
