OCOLOY Day 299: Post Mill at Thorpeness by vignouse

OCOLOY Day 299: Post Mill at Thorpeness

This perfectly restored post-mill was built in 1803 to supply the grain requirements of the growing port of Thorpeness on the Suffolk coast. I liked the drama of it silhouetted against the early evening sky.

As usual, the image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my profile.
Such drama! Must have been quite a project. I love this image and the depth you achieve even with a silhouette

Thorpeness is a lovely place. Just a drive away from me. Hope you got to see the house in the clouds and the lovely boating lake. Wonderful detailed silhouette.
