OCOLOY Day 318: Remembrance Day

The mayor of Paimpont speaking this morning at the annual Remembrance Day parade held in the square adjacent to Paimpont Abbey. This year, in addition to the war-dead, the Mayor also dedicated the day to to the victims of terrorism.

As usual, the image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my profile.
This is nice especially in the B&W.

Works well. Especially for the terrorism attacks in Paris...

Nice how you got the official moment and Mrs. Sayer caught a social moment.

Very sobering. Unfortunate that there are more to remember. Your picture captures the mood very well

Perspective and composition nailed. Do you ever pick up another camera, or is it just this one for the whole year?

@scotthouston Thank you Scott. As the album name implies, all my daily images are shot with the X100T and its fixed 23mm lens and are also sooc. I don't really have the time to use other cameras but last week I did use a pair of full-frame Nikons at a photo shoot at the local kick-boxing club - you can see one image from that session in my Project 52 album here: http://365project.org/vignouse/project-52/2016-11-13 The first time that I've touched the Nikons this year!

@vignouse Thanks for the explanation; and I do like the boxing shot -- going long and spare doesn't seem to be a problem for you either. So OK with me if you want to blow the dust off the D750 again sometime soon!
