OCOLOY Day 321: Chuch of St. Armel at Ploërmel

I've wanted to photograph this church at night for a while and when tonight an engagement in the town finished early before the floodlighting had been turned off, I took advantage of the opportunity.

As usual, the image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my profile.

Best on black I would guess.
what a beautiful church Richard - I like the geometry of it

VML,
It's remarkable now we don't 'see' churches in daylight; they are the backdrop, solid, unchanging...and just there. Yet when evening and night time come, where churches are illuminated like this one, these bastions of life take on another dimension. Majestic, inspirational, affirming and comforting.

The tree set it off nicely, making a much better job of it than the flagpoles.
