OCOLOY Day 356: Silas Sly by vignouse

OCOLOY Day 356: Silas Sly

In these last days of the year when daylight is not so plentiful but distractions are, it's 'catch as catch can' for my daily post. This is an item from Mrs S's collection of Toby Jugs which she inherited from my mother after admiring them for many years.

As usual, the image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my profile.

And I guess this is going to view better on black...
I know the 'catch as catch can' feeling! How many in the collection?

@jasperc About 20 I guess - I'll count them tomorrow...

Nice light. These jugs are so interesting. My grandmother had two and they went to each of my brothers after she and my mother died.

I thought of Charles Dickens as well. Well caught catch in the brief moment of light and time.

Toby jugs were so cute, I bet the whole collection make a great display and Silas looks the biz on his own....
