A new twist

So this is my response to my get pushed challenge this week from Francesca @frappa77 to choose one of my exisiting photos and process it to give a different feel. I converted this to black and white then adjusted the temperature, exposure and shadows. I dont do a lot of post processing and just used the pre-installed programme on my laptop to do this.
@frappa So here is my first effort, what do you think??

b&w really does give a photo a different feel since the tones are so different - i really like how the bottom of the blossom is so noticeable here where, in the color version, i so not notice the variation much at all. i think it might need a bit more contrast.

@30pics4jackiesdiamond Hi Jackie, thanks for the comment, the programme is called PhotoDirector 3 and was pre-installed on my laptop, it is quite limited but does a few thing, I dont do much post processing so it didnt seem worth buying any software in.

Really nice effect Anne. Love the soft pink tones of the edited version.

Dear Anne! I have seen your picture only now... I didn't receive any notification because you wrote @frappa instead of @frappa77! I think you have done a wonderful job... The b&w version of your original picture looks so delicate and really pops on black! A fav for me!

@frappa77 Oh no Francesca, I am so sorry!! What a silly mistake to make. Thank you for your comments and for your fav, it was an interesting challenge!

No problem, it happens often with my nickname! I'm sorry not to have checked for your picture before but happy to have found it in the end! To the next challenge!
