Cowslip by 365anne

Cowslip

As I was out walking this morning I saw just one or two of these beautiful flowers and realised that there are many shots of tulips, daffodils, orchids, primroses, bluebells and the like but I dont think I have ever seen a shot of this shy flower. Such a shame, as if one takes the time to get down on the ground and look carefully at them they hide their beauty with their downward facing petals. Reminds me of many of the children I work with - you have to get down to their level and really look for the beauty within........ It is always there
Lovely captured!!!!

It's a lovely flower. The Dutch name is 'sleutelbloem' (key flower).

@olenadole @hermann @catsmeowb @gijsje @30pics4jackiesdiamond @salza @judithdeacon Once again, thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment. Also to bep for providing the Dutch name - so different from the English when translated, I prefer 'key flower' to cowslip!
