Unusual plaque

Found this while out walking today, in it's own little shelter....
Since returning home I have looked up the website noted in the shelter and find that this is one of the Waymarkers of a pilgrimage from Lowestoft in Suffolk to St Davids in Wales - across the widest part of the UK. Every day's a school day - I had no idea about this!!
