Frogger @tdaug80 said: "I enjoyed all of your flower photos. For your challenge, I'm asking you to photograph something less beautiful. Photograph something rusty." for my GP challenge this week - so here is a rusty horseshoe that lives in my hydrangea pot to try and keep the flowers blue rather than pink!
Well, you certainly found something old and rusty. Well done. The branch in the lower left that is in focus distracts a bit from you main subject. I'm not sure of the best way to eliminate the distraction. You might try blurring it in editing, or maybe just cropping a little tighter. Still, it's a good photo.
I think we have the same blue planters. https://365project.org/tdaug80/365/2020-06-17
@peadar Thanks Peter, it is an interesting thing to try and get right @tdaug80 Thank you for your helpful points, I have tried again today and taken those into account @ljmanning Thank you Laura, I have never thought of capturing my old rust horseshoes before - it's interesting to do @randystreat Thanks Kathy, still having some more tries! @shutterbug49 Yes! Iron is supposed to keep the soil more acidic so they flowers stay blue @ludwigsdiana Thanks Diana, such an interesting subject that I had never considered using before!
