Something to dream about. I like the sharp contrast between the sharp black, red and white of the boat and the soft greens of the river and vegetation and blue sky..
I often wonder how idyllic it would be, I can not decide but there is a romance and appeal to the simplicity. What a lovely capture with the boat perfectly positioned in the image and the strong contrasts

This narrow boat belongs to some friends of ours and was moored there for a night before moving to it's summer moorings. I noticed this morning that it had moved and taken up it's usual residence! Sadly they dont seem to use it very much @helenhall My brother lives on a narrow boat and has totally embraced the lifestyle. It certainly encourages you to live in a minimalistic way! No room for clutter on board. He has lived on his boat for almost 6 years now and is showing no signs of coming back to shore life!
