On the hill

I remembered my father saying in a very loving way say "you know you won't be able to ski forever as your knees will wear out"
As we travel up the lift for the first run at 70 years old I thought I can still ski today.
Of course not same dimond runs as years ago but still enjoying. LOL

A wonderful scene - fav! A lot of things get harder with age - I accept that I can no longer do the long walks I once could, but a short walk can bring a great deal of pleasure as well.

Lovely image. I often thought that I'd like to try skiing if I ever got the chance, but I don't think would end well if I tried it in my late 60s with dodgy knees :)
