Best place ever

Santa Cruz Island is without a doubt my place in my boat. I lived on by boat for 8 years and sailing always and took the boat out to the
Channel Islands every week-end. Still have the boat but with age and losing strength sailing is more fair weather only.

I've lived and sailed on three different sailboats in my life. Before I met him my husband kept his boat in Ventura and he always talked about his trips to Santa Cruz Island. Together we sailed Mexico and the West Coast and then we went East and sailed the east coast in the Bahamas. I miss those days.

What a great shot and wonderful narrative! We have done a lot of sailing in our life on different continents and I really miss it! Never managed to live on a boat though.
