The No 3 bus

Surprised to see an iconic Routemaster trundling through a Sussex village. A very common sight on the streets of London during the 50s, 60s and 70s but all but phased out now. Brought back happy memories of chasing the bus down the street and jumping on the rear platform (which is how the phrase "to catch the bus" originated!)
