@pistache It is a great idea and really showcases the club locally. There are a few hundred members, many of whom are clearly very expert and experienced in photography. I am not a member as my working hours would make it difficult to attend many of the sessions. I did go along for a taster session at the end of last year but found it all a bit daunting and not really geared up for someone at the lower end of the learning curve. But I have joined an online camera club that is really supportive and fun - Jackie @30pics4jackiesdiamond is a member too :)
@4rky you're not lower end of learnjng, and I'll look out for you in edps camera club!!! I too looked at an established local club, but the rules and rankings for competition were just not 'me'
