Merlin is our little one who has MOSType 2
Has had major treatments and surgeries in his 5 yrs of life but is such a happy wee boy , it would be lovely if closer .

It is always difficult having family on the other side of the world. May I ask what MOSType 2 is?

@kjarn Hi Kathy it’s a genetic health problem simply put the way the body is unable to manage sugar this impacts on all organs Merlin is deaf has spinal problems heart issues he’s had chemo as asto have stem cell transplant this hasn’t been as successful as hoped for he’s had a mirade of surgeries and on going treatments.

The poor little kid, that’s a lot for him to contend with. I’m a nurse but never heard of MOS and google didn’t help me either

Google was able to help once I got the right letters. I see it’s also called Hunter Syndrome which I have heard of but knew nothing about

Cuties. Thank you @kjarn for asking the question. I tried to research it a bit, but wasn't sure what was coming up was correct. Such as sad diagnosis for such a tiny tot Dawn. I'm glad he's in a loving family.
