Blue Steel by abirkill

Blue Steel

Downtown Vancouver as seen from the Stanley Park seawall, with the Vancouver Rowing Club marina in the foreground.

Today was a mostly cold and wet day, with temperatures down as low as 5 degrees, and sleet falling in the morning. Late afternoon it started to clear a little, and while there wasn't much of a break in the clouds, it was at least dry.

This is another long exposure using my 10-stop ND filter. Total exposure time was 16 minutes at ISO 200. The long exposure smoothed out the reflections in the water nicely (and eliminated the ducks!)
Great shot. I love the look of the water and the reflected boats/buildings.
