Some rangers for the Oglala National Grasslands built a free blind on a grouse lek. I knew it was near the High Plains Homestead, an old western "town" on the edge of the grasslands. I really want to see the grouse dancing, so I did a bit of exploring. I found the blind. The grouse are there, and this pair are just down the road at the High Plains Homestead. Now I'm ready for my predawn arrival at the bind!
