On the first Sunday of every month between April and December, the town of Frome holds 'The Frome Independent' Market.
The main street is closed to traffic and the town is lined with stalls & attractions.
Here you can sample and buy all manner of food & drink, (the Persian street food stall and the Jurassic fish burger stall looked incredibly appealing today). You can view and purchase ceramics and jewelry, art and crafts. Or you can stand or sit and chill to a good mix of street entertainers too.
This little snippet of the flavour of 'The Frome Independent' shows the wonderment on a little girls face as she watches one of the cheese vendors prepare some of his wondrous farm cheese for her to taste.
Such is the 'magic & beauty' in a child's face as they react to sounds, sights and smells of the world that emerges around them and it is wonderful to behold.
@bkbinthecity Yes was a great atmosphere. I only managed to get there for just over an hour due to be somewhere else. Next month I am hoping to get there a lot earlier so i can have a proper look around.
