I saw this vintage sign complete with rusty bits attached to a wall of a farm cottage in the village of Faulkland on my travels.
Apparently these signs were used for the Agricultural Propaganda Campaign during WW2, between 1939-1945 , to encourage people in the war effort to grow more, while this nation was under threat.
I'm guessing this is still in its original location some 70+ years later.
