The Radić Pavilion (in the background) was installed at Hauser & Wirth Somerset in March 2015, at the end of Oudolf Field (partly seen in the foreground).
Designed by Chilean architect Smiljan Radić, this unique structure was first unveiled as the Serpentine Gallery 2014 Pavilion.
The pavilion sits naturally within the landscape at Hauser & Wirth Somerset, creating a dialogue between the gallery complex and pavilion, and their relationship with the garden.
Visitors to the arts centre have the opportunity to walk around, inside and underneath the pavilion.
@lyndamcg Thanks for your comments & fav. Yes the Hauser & Wirth is wellworth a visit - there is quite a lot of abstract art, not fully my cup of tea, but they have a great cafe & bookshop as well.
@marcy0414 Thank you for your comments. There are some unusual pieces art & architecture here. The grounds (of which you see just part) are great to wander in.
@sophie_e Thank you very much for your comments - yes the grounds ( a part of which you see) are lovely to walk on a sunny spring day, and the gallery has some interesting exhibits.
