We arrived on Christmas morning, and after 40 hours of being awake I said my hellos, grabbed a quick pic, and then went to bed until Boxing Day!
Luckily Mum had a big bunch of flowers I could use for pics when I wasn't going out and about :)
Oh what a lovely flower about to bloom! Is it an amaryllis? It looks like it could be. Great shot. The color, the detail, the focus... all terrific. Now the big question .. what the heck were you doing up for 40 hours??? I'd have passed out at 28! This is a superb shot. Well done, Alia! :)
@olivetreeann I had to keep myself awake while we waited for other half's parents to pick him up from my mum's place... Believe me, as soon as I could reasonable head for bed, I did so!
@prttblues 40 hours is the time it took from waking up in Melbourne to getting home in the UK. I can't sleep on planes - have to be horizontal - so I get as much sleep as I can before leaving, drink a lot of caffeine on the flight, and then sleep for 18 hours as soon as I get to my destination :)

@prttblues 40 hours is the time it took from waking up in Melbourne to getting home in the UK. I can't sleep on planes - have to be horizontal - so I get as much sleep as I can before leaving, drink a lot of caffeine on the flight, and then sleep for 18 hours as soon as I get to my destination :)
