John and I are back home (and I'm happy to say there were no surprises when we came through the door.) Since I didn't have a chance to take any pictures on our return trip, here is one from Christmas Eve taken at the community Christmas lights we attended. The pond on the hospital lawn had a flock of ducks that I'm sure would normally be sleeping by this time. Whether it was the crowds or the holiday lights, this sassy duck was putting on his own performance.
