Always the most brilliant tree in my neighborhood, this maple reached its most flamboyant color a few days ago. I stopped again today to see if it had surpassed its earlier display, but I think it was beginning to lose some of its leaves, so I will stick with this image from Oct. 26.
It is magnificent. Interesting how the power lines go through the middle of the tree. Around here the tree would be cut away to give clearance on all sides - no matter what shape it made the tree.
This beautiful tree is still nice and full. ours are losing more and more leaves....it`s windy and raining again. so far we filled six bags last week for pick up and another seven this week and there are already more leaves to be raked.
