Invited guests included the family that donated the work to the school. The choral group sang a beautiful harmonic rendition of The Pledge of Allegiance. The whole Lower School sang Woody Guthrie's "This Land is Your Land", while enthusiastically waving little flags. It was a beautiful moment in the life of the school, especially in light of the horrendous attacks in Paris. If we can only preserve the innocence of our children.
Such a selfless gift to be loved by the children. (I haven't heard the news...for three years I've gone on a newsblackout and only know what I'm told... It's too miserable to know more... I caught a glimpse of a one-liner about a 9 y-o and I've been heart-broken all day. I hope our children can be spared the evil... I'm glad you're so instrumental in their lives...♥)
