Our Fourth Graders received their graduation certificates this afternoon and are now officially rising Fifth Graders. The ceremony was held in the athletic center in order to fit in all the proud family members. I love the way they used the game clock to announce the class's graduation year from Upper School. Since Collegiate has 3 divisions, the students will continue on our 32 acre campus until they are ready to move on to college. It is hard to imagine that today, but when you think back to them as eager kindergarteners, you know this is just one stop on their journey.
Grade school graduations didn't begin happening until my baby sister graduated kindergarten (that's as I recall, anyway!) And so today we attended the graduation of grandson Bodhi from *pre-kindergarten*!
Clever use of the game clock indeed. I can't believe that many of the students I taught in SCS have now graduated from college, are married and having families. Time does fly.
@Weezilou Mr. friend Bob wants to try again to see you when he gets to Lunenburg around July 20. His e-mail is RARGABRIGHT@me.com He is a wonderful man and I feel sure you will enjoy each other. Can you send him your e-mail so you can get in contact?
@allie912 Most definitely I will! And if he'd like to meet even one more of the folks from 365, Joy Anderson will be here with us at that time @joysfocus. Sounds like the makings of a dinner party! I will definitely get in touch with him! Your word is good enough for me!
