At my friend's house today there was a Cooper's Hawk in her back yard. Lots of branches in the way, but I did the best I could to get photos from inside the house. It sat there for quite some time. That's the closest I've been to a Coop.
This photo looks good enlarged. I strugged with the brightness. If I bring the brightness up to lighten up the hawk's face, then the white in the background gets kind of obnoxious.
