For the third time in recent weeks I have come across birds clinging to trees fairly low, and instead of flying off immediately as most would when a human approaches, they stay. I believe they were all just learning to fly.
These young downies make the best pictures. Their markings are so clear and they do not seem to be as quick to leave when you approach. Really nice shot against the greens.
