Resting Snake

This snake was resting on a tree in a mangrove forest near Tampa Bay. I'm afraid I don't know much about snakes.

We're here in southwest FL for a couple of months, Anne, and whenever we head into the 'glades' to hike one trail or another Larry is looking for something just like this. We've seen a couple of snakes so far but nothing as good as this shot !
