My Native Plant Garden - Columbine

Last summer we converted a vegetable garden into a pollinator garden of local wildflowers to help the bees, butterflies and birds. I'd like to post photos of the plants as they come into bloom. This was the first. Columbine is a beautiful nodding wildflower of Eastern North America that has five spurs full of nectar (liked by hummingbirds) that jut upward. It is such a lovely plant. Unfortunately, most people think of a 1999 massacre now when they hear the word "Columbine."

@shirleybankfarm Just checked my book....you are correct: Aquilegia canadensis. Do they grow it in England?
