The 4.5 metre tall statue was erected in late 2009 to mark Hydro Aluminium’s 40th year in the area. The combined Hydro Aluminium and Kurri Kurri Tidy Towns project was created by Pokolbin artist Chris Fussel and is located in Rotary Park in the centre of the town.
