The Observer by annied

The Observer

The Observer Hotel (69 George St, The Rocks) was built in 1908 on the site of two former hotels: the Observer Tavern (1848-1908) and the Waterman's Arms (1844-1901) and was originally a residential building.
Rumour abounds that the hotel has its own resident ghost, which is said to be the spirit of a woman murdered by the then republican, N. Grindall, in 1944.
Interesting history and a great candid capture.

This is such an interesting, dynamic image, Annie. The framing you used makes it look like a poster or an ad for the hotel.
