went to Crosby Ravensworth and Maulds Meaburn for their open gardens. As always, a great variety. This, in a bend of the Lyvennet Beck, was lovely. Lots of different sitting areas - tiny bridges over little waterways, tadpoles in a pond, croquet lawn, great crop of broad beans, arches ... far more than I could ever keep up.
