Mimosa Pudica in bloom

Back in the beginning of June we purchased a couple of Mimosa Pudica potted plants for indoors. They are delicate and very sensitive to the touch and will collapse their leaves when touched, shaken or even blown upon (this response is actually called seismonic movements). They also have thorny stems which usually is one of natures ways of saying "don't touch me" :-).
When the sun starts to set they fold their leaves and don't open them again until the next morning when the sun is rising.
I think they are funny little things but for a long time I just couldn't find the right combination of light and water (especially the right amount of water I think), but I must be doing something right because they have now started to bloom - this morning I noticed this first flower - it's quite small - about 1.7 cm in diameter and very delicate... and there's even more flower buds on the way :-).

Gear used Olympus OM-D E-M5 + Lensbaby Velvet 56 f1.6/56mm.
Very nice, artistic look.
