Last days of summer

According to the calendar we are now enjoying the very last days of summer 2017, and leaves have now started to wither and drop.
Let me be honest - I'm probably more of a spring and summer kinda gal, but both fall and winther definitely has its charms too, and there's almost nothing as beautiful as the view of a forest shifting it's colours from leafy green into those beautiful golden shades of fall.

@peadar Thank you so much for your comment, Peter... you are of course totally right about the shadow of the leaf... I always use only natural light, and I wasn't paying enough attention to the shadows. I really appreciate your feedback - it helps me grow as a photographer :-).
